8:00 am - I downloaded the Easy Quit Drinking app on Tuesday evening and had my last wine spritzer before 8:00 pm. The app gives you badges frequently at first. 1 Hour, 3 Hours, 6 Hours, 9 Hours, 12 Hours, 15 Hours, 20 Hours, 1 Day, 30 Hours, 36 Hours, 40 Hours, 2 Days, 60 Hours, 3 Days, etc.
Actually, for me quitting alcohol is not a problem. I don't get cravings and have always diluted my wine by about 75% with club soda and ginger ale, so I used the wine more as a flavouring than anything else, but I think it's fun to keep track of dry days with the app.
I want to get back in the habit of drinking more plain water.
11:00 am - I have an appointment with our family doctor.
1:30 pm - Dennis has an appointment at the hospital with the Pain Management Team at the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
