At 7:30 am I was just about to take Tickles for a walk. I had just picked up her harness, when it started to thunder. I decided I'd better leave her home, and drive over to 7-Eleven on Hartzell Rd. to pick up Dennis' Saturday Star newspaper. Just as I came out of the store we had a massive deluge. I had to run back to my car and then just sit and wait for a bit. Every time it seemed to be slowing down I started driving, but the hurricane like conditions would worsen and I'd have to pull into a parking lot to wait it out. I stopped four times on my way home.
In the afternoon I took a nap from 1:47 pm - 3:33 pm (1h 34m).
