Discussion:
Periods of heavy rainfall associated with the remnants of Hurricane Beryl will move into southern Ontario this morning. These types of weather systems can give very high rainfall rates in torrential downpours.
Rainfall amounts will likely be highly variable across the region, and some areas may receive in excess of 60 mm. Rain will taper to scattered showers from west to east tonight through early Thursday morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Today's Journal
I went to the hospital twice today. The first time was at 11:00 am and I stayed through lunch, until about 1:30 pm. Later I went back again around 4:30 pm and stayed though dinner, until 5:30 pm. I stopped at Walmart on the way home to pick up bananas and ginger ale zero.
I feel absolutely horrible for Dennis. He's been stuck in the hospital for a whole week now and he can only move a few feet away from his bed because of the oxygen line and the IV stuck in his arm. He has a cheap uncomfortable chair in his room but no way to put up his feet. And we have no idea if his condition is improving at all. There is no sign of him being discharged any time soon. :(
